Interactive Metronome

Interactive Metronome therapy is designed to help patients with conditions which are linked to brain dysfunction, problems with motor planning and sequencing, and for children with learning disabilities. It teaches the patient to synchronize hand and foot motions to the rhymic beat of a computer generated tone they hear through headphones or speakers. There is real time auditory feedback on their performance that does not distract them, and helps them improve. As the duration of therapy periods increase, their endurance builds and the brain begins to relax and fire its messages to the body more accuratly.
